Online Dental Mentorship: How to Join a UK Programme From Anywhere

If you are a dentist outside the UK and you have been looking for a mentor who works at the top end of cosmetic dentistry, you have probably noticed something. Most of what is on offer assumes you live within reach of a London clinic. The programmes are built around a Tuesday in a training room, and if you are in Dubai, Dublin or Dallas, that is where the conversation ends.

It does not have to. My mentorship is built so that you can take part from wherever you practise, and members already join from all over the world. This post is a plain account of how that works, so you can decide whether it would suit you.

How it works from a distance

Taking part from afar can mean very different things, so let me be specific about what you get.

There are two live group calls a month. One is an open mic, where you bring whatever is on your mind: a case you are unsure about, a consultation that did not go the way you hoped, a decision about your own career. The other is with a guest expert. Both run on Wednesdays at 7pm UK time.

Every call is recorded and uploaded to the members' area. That matters more than it sounds. If 7pm UK time falls in the middle of your working day, or in the small hours, you are not locked out. You watch when it suits you, and you can still bring your questions to the group through the community afterwards.

Between the calls there is a WhatsApp group with access to me, the specialist team and the other members. This is where most of the real mentoring happens. Someone posts a case at breakfast in one country and has three thoughtful replies by lunch in another.

Case reviews do not need a postcode

The part of mentoring I would miss most if it vanished is the case review. You send me the case: your photographs, your plan, your thinking. You get personalised feedback back as video, audio or written notes, whichever you prefer. There is no limit on how many you send.

Because everything is shared digitally, it works the same whether you are ten minutes from my clinic or ten hours away. The same is true of the specialist panel, which includes an orthodontist, an implant dentist, a periodontist and an endodontist. If your case needs another pair of eyes, you can ask.

What about the in-person side?

Fair question. Every three months we hold a face to face day at DRMR Clinic in Knightsbridge. Each one is recorded and placed online in the members' area, so if you cannot be in the room, you still get the full teaching and can watch it in your own time.

If you would like to be there in person, that is simple to arrange, and a number of overseas members pair a visit to London with one of the days. Some also take our Designing Smiles hands-on veneer course while they are here. It is booked separately, and members receive a discounted rate. But none of that is required. You can be a full member without ever boarding a plane.

Who it suits

The mentorship suits dentists at every stage of their cosmetic journey. You might be building your first cosmetic diary, or you might be established and ready to be known for your work. The common thread is wanting more than clinical skill alone: more confidence in treatment planning, a stronger presence online, and a patient journey that matches the care you actually give.

For dentists moving from a more general or public-sector practice into premium cosmetic work, the support network matters enormously. You are not figuring it out alone, whatever country you practise in.

One honest point: regulation and registration differ between countries, and I cannot advise you on the rules where you practise. What I can do is help you plan cases well, communicate clearly with patients and build a reputation for the work you love, and those skills travel.

The practical details

The mentorship is £350 a month, including VAT. It is a monthly rolling membership, so there is no contract to sign and nothing to untangle if your circumstances change. You can leave whenever you like, and if life gets busy you can pause for up to three months and keep the rate you paused at. Three in four members stay beyond a year, which tells me the format works for people with full diaries.

Joining gives you immediate access to the resource library and the WhatsApp community, and we will confirm your first live call.

Not sure yet?

If you would like to talk it through before deciding, you can book a free discovery call and ask me anything, including how the time difference would work for you.

You can read everything that is included, and join, on the mentorship page.

Wherever you practise, you do not have to work this out alone.
